Odenwald
Cycling

A bike ride in the Odenwald is like a journey into the past: Historic castles, magnificent churches, medieval timber-framed buildings and numerous castles bear witness to an eventful history. The Odenwald offers a wide range of well-marked cycle paths for cyclists, letting you discover the region and its history. Families are advised to stick to the flatter river valleys. The Beerfelder circular route, the 2-Burgen route, the Hohe Straße and the Gersprenztalweg are all relaxed cycle routes. The 3-state cycle route offers a healthy mixture of challenging and leisurely cycling.
