The 180-kilometre Rhön cycle route guarantees a varied route for cyclists. It takes you through the heart of the Rhön biosphere reserve with plenty of pristine nature, rare Rhön sheep and an impressive night sky in the Dark Sky Park. It also links up the spa towns of Bad Salzungen, Bad Neustadt, Bad Bocklet and Bad Kissingen, promising plenty of recuperation options for your tired legs. Despite the fabulous views, the Rhön cycle route predominantly takes you along flat, cycle-friendly terrain. The Ulster Valley cycle route has been part of the Rhön cycle route since it was completed. It has its own signs. www.rhoenradweg.de
